Welcome

This is a forum for you to express your thoughts and ideas regarding the state of Media Centers in Orange county. Please share your ideas on ways to support the cause for Media Specialists in our schools. If you really must rant, this is the place to do it!

    One of our first positive assignments is to list all the ways students will be effected by the loss of certified library media specialists in our schools. I will compile a list to send to Marion Cannon.

    POsition paper will be available to explain all the things we do and what would be lost if kids didn't have a media center run by a certified media specialist. Please give to your PTA, SAC and anyone to pass on to her ever they can reach. Do it NOW

    I appreciate the kudos - but they don't belong to me. I am just maintaining what Tracy Barry and then Ginger Carter developed. The pages Sammie sent are finally up - I hope everyone takes time this weekend to write to their legislators in Tallahassee to tell them that we are tired of our state being cheap on education.
